There is a 20-person volunteer crew from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints going up Kalama River Road checking door to door to check on people’s safety.

Cowlitz County Search and Rescue efforts are underway to rescue a lady on private road Sakari Lane, off of Rivendell/Pleasant Hill Road north of Kelso. Her children moved to a safe location this week, but she remained to keep her residence safe and her mini-Australian shepard dog and three cats.

Home Depot is working on putting together an Asset Protection Team to provide free sump pump and load and go services. They will be bringing sump pumps, shovels and brooms to assist people who need help getting cleaned out.
