City of Kalama Water System Problems

The City of Kalama is having problems with their water system. Sixty homes are without water and many are under a boil water order. Residents are asked to limit their use of water until further notice. City workers will be on the job all night trying to fix the problems.

For further information contact the City of Kalama Public Works Department at (360) 673-3706.

If you live near bridges that may have been somewhat compromised during all the flooding/high water...how do you know if they're safe to use? When will they be inspected? I'm specifically concerned about two small country bridges, one over Goble Creek, the other over Mahaffey Creek - both in the Rose Valley area.
