The Humane Society will take exotic pets (i.e. birds, snakes, lizards, chinchillas, whatever other creatures you may have) as long as they have their own container, kennel, crate, bowl, whatever. Make sure that their container is well labeled with instructions and all of your emergency contact information. Also, there has been a rumor that you can bring livestock to the Expo Center to shelter, this is not the case. Call the Humane Society at 577-0151 with questions.
