New evacuations

The Green Acres area on Westside Hwy in Castle Rock has received an evacuation notice. Residents of that area are asked to move to higher ground. The nearest Red Cross shelter at this point would be the Expo Center at the fairgrounds or New Life Fellowship Church at 2441 42nd Ave. We hope to have more information regarding new shelters as soon as possible.
