Cowlitz river at Kelso affecting Cowlitz County
Lewis River at Woodland affecting Clark and Cowlitz counties
Cowlitz River at Castle Rock affecting Cowlitz County
River stage forecasts are based on observed and forecast rainfall and temperatures. If actual rainfall and temperatures vary from the forecast values, the river stage will vary accordingly. River forecasts include current and planned reservoir releases.

Flood warning continues for the Lewis River at Woodland:
*From 4 pm Wednesday until 11am Friday
*At 12 pm Wednesday the stage was 21.7 feet
*Minor flooding is forecast
*This river will rise above flood stage around 4pm Wednesday and is expected to crest at 26.1 ft around 5am Thursday
*Impact above 26 feet: Expect widespread flooding of low lying areas in and upstream of the town of Woodland. The airport at Woodland is likely inundated at this level.
The flood warning continues for the Cowlitz River at Castle Rock:
*From 4 pm Wednesday until 9am Friday
*At 12pm Wednesday the stage was 44.9 feet
*Major Flooding is forecast
*Flood stage is 48 feet and flood flow is 65000 cubic feet per second
*Forecast: This river will rise above flood stage around 4 pm Wednesday and is expected to crest at 55.3 feet around 4am Thursday.
*Major flooding can be expected during the crest.
*Impact above 54 feet: Expect widespread flooding of residential and business areas, especially west of the river in the four corners area and along highway 411 (Westside Highway). Also expect widespread flooding of agricultural land. Levees have historically been threatened of overtopping at this and higher levels.
The flood warning continues for the Cowlitz River at Kelso:
*Until 10pm Friday
*At 12pm Wednesday the stage was 21.5 feet.
*Minor flooding is forecast.
*Flood stage is 21.5 feet.
*Forecast: This river is expected to crest at 25.6 feet around 2 am Thursday
*Impact above 24.5 feet: Flooding of a few residential areas in the Kelso vicinity begins. Also expect widespread flooding of pasture land and low lying roads.
