Japan Earthquake & Tsunami Alert

We have been monitoring the earthquake in Japan and the tsunami advisory for the Washington and Oregon coast. There is no concern that the tsunami will impact Cowlitz County. The tsunami alert for the coast is causing some concern and action is being taken by those counties on the ocean. The first wave will arrive at the coast around 7:30 AM.
