High Wind Advisory Remains in Effect
Hang on to your small pets--it's windy out! The Portland National Weather service extended the high wind advisory through this evening. Sustained winds are expected to be between 15 and 30 mph, with gusts up to 45 mph. The ground is pretty saturated from last night's rain, so the possibility for downed trees and branches is high. Keep those flashlights handy. FYI--flashlight is not a Latin word for "dead battery holder." Food for thought.
