We received word that FEMA will be closing the Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) at the Training Center (Boathouse) on Thursday night. They feel the vast majority of people have come into the DRC that will be coming in. Victims of the flood can still register by telephone and on the Internet until March 30th. Anyone who does not register by March 30th will not be eligible for assistance.
The Small Business Administration will continue to man a desk at the DRC for another week after FEMA moves out.
